This short trek through the uppermost part of Sosebee Cove offers a chance to see big trees year-round and wildflowers in season. The trail was dedicated to Arthur W. Woody, a native of nearby Suches. This cove is a designated 175-acre scenic area, due to its rich concentration of plant life.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Dahlonega, follow US 19 north for 25 miles to Vogel State Park. A short distance past the state park entrance, on your left, is GA 180. Turn left on GA 180 and follow it for 3 miles to a parking area, on the right-hand side of the winding road. The Sosebee Cove Trail starts here.
